Summer has arrived, albeit a little late, and it is still quite chilly. The water in nootka has been exceptionally clear which seems to be making the brighter spoons and plugs work very well. As Anchovy are in short supply everywhere, its great that most people are having such good success with gear. For those that have found a supply of anchovy and have been hoarding it, remember that when you bring it to Critter Cove there is limited freezer space and we are unable to hold it for you.

When looking at our daily catch record remember that this is not a complete list of all fish caught. Some days it is a small portion of the days catch. Many fishermen would rather their neighbor or boss not know where they are, so don't want their name on the board. Anyway you slice it, the fishing is great and hope to see you on the docks soon.
